External software titles have limited editing capabilities, allowing some of the information to be overridden.

Note:

  • If the external definition is code-signed, you will see a notification with the signing identity.

  • Setting a value to "Default" will retrieve the value from the external title.

  • Changes made in Title Editor will remain in place even when the definition is updated on the external source..

  1. From the Patch Definitions page, click the definition name.
  2. (Optional) Choose a specific version to report as the Latest Version within Jamf Pro from the Current Version pop-up menu.
  3. (Optional) Choose the desired reboot behavior for when a patch policy runs from the Reboot pop-up menu.
  4. (Optional) Click the Kill Apps tab and de-select the Use Default Kill Apps checkbox. To add your own Kill Apps, clickNew.
  5. Click Done.
