A patch component defines the elements that comprise this software title patch version, and is defined by the following criteria:

  • Name

  • Version

Note:

At this time, only one element is supported by Jamf Pro.

  1. From the software title Patches tab, click the version, and then click the Components tab.
  2. Click New.
  3. Enter the information for your software title into the following text fields:

    • Name

    • Version

  4. Click Save.

To create a patch component for Google Chrome, type the following into the appropriate text fields:

  • Name: Google Chrome

  • Version: 91.0.4472.101
