Capabilities are used to determine which computers in your environment have this specific software title patch version installed. These are defined by a combination of criteria. For more information, see Patch Definitions.

The operators presented are dependent on the selected criteria, and an alert will be shown if an operator has been changed because of a change in criteria.

Note:

Extension attributes can also be used as a criteria. Each extension attribute will appear as a separate, selectable criteria. These extension attributes must be created separately from those within Jamf Pro.

  1. From the software title version page, click the Criteria tab, and then click Add.
  2. Choose the criteria you wish to use from the Criteria pop-up menu, and then enter the applicable information in theValue text field.
  3. Click Add to add additional criteria.
  4. Click Done.

Adding Patch Component Criteria for Google Chrome

To add patch component criteria for Google Chrome, perform the following:

  1. Choose "Application Bundle ID" from the Criteria pop-up menu and type com.google.Chrome in the value field.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Choose "Application Version" from the Criteria pop-up menu and type 91.0.4472.101 in the Value field.

  4. Click Done.
