Capabilities are used to determine which computers in your environment have the ability to install and run this software title patch. These are defined by a combination of criteria. For more information, see Patch Definitions.
The operators presented are dependent on the selected criteria, and an alert will be shown if an operator has been changed because of a change in criteria.
Extension attributes can also be used as a criteria. Each extension attribute will appear as a separate, selectable criteria. These extension attributes must be created separately from those within Jamf Pro.
Capabilities are typically defined by Operating System Version, and this should match the minimum operating system defined in the patch.
- From the software title version page, click the Capabilities tab, and then click Add.
- Choose the criteria you wish to use from the Criteria pop-up menu, and then enter the applicable information in the Value text field.
- Choose the operator you wish to use from the Operator pop-up menu.
- Click Done.

Click Add.
Choose from the Criteria pop-up menu and from the Operator pop-up menu.
Type 10.10 in the Value text field.
Click Done.
