Optional risk-based badge provisioning is an organization-defined policy which determines if a device is eligible for employee badge provisioning based on its risk score. If the device's risk score is below a certain threshold in Jamf Security Cloud, the user can go through the employee badge provisioning process. If the device's risk score is determined to be at or above the threshold, the user will be notified that the risk is too high and they will need to remediate outstanding issues before continuing.
Requirements
A SwiftConnect integration with your Jamf Security Cloud portal.
- Navigate to your Jamf Security Cloud admin portal.
- Click .
- Enable Device risk-based employee badge access.
- In the Deny access to devices starting at the following risk level: drop-down, select the corresponding risk level from Jamf Security Cloud.
Jamf Trust will now grant or deny employee badge access for devices based on the defined risk level.
