Adding Employee Badge to Google Wallet on Android Devices - Technical Paper: Deploying Employee Badge for Jamf Trust

When Jamf Trust is installed with the Employee Badge activation profile configured, you can open the app and add your badge to Google Wallet on your Android device.

Important:

If you had an Employee Badge set up before the transition to Google Wallet, your badge will be removed. You must update Jamf Trust to version 11.89.x or later before adding your badge again.

Requirements

Jamf Trust 11.89.x or later installed on your Android device
Access to Google Wallet on your Android device

Open Jamf Trust and go to the Employee Badge screen.
Tap Add to Google Wallet on the provisioning screen.

Note:
Leaving the screen at this point cancels the process. You must stay in Jamf Trust until Google Wallet opens.
Tap Accept and continue after Google Wallet opens. Do not close the app while the progress screen is displayed.
Tap View in Google Wallet or return to Jamf Trust.

Confirm that your Employee Badge was successfully added in Google Wallet by holding your mobile device near any compatible reader. You do not need to open Google Wallet to use your Employee Badge.
