Re-enroll the computer using either Automated Device Enrollment or Device Enrollment (user-initiated enrollment).

  1. For Automated Device Enrollment, do one of the following:
    • If you do not want to erase the computer, open Terminal and execute the following command:
      sudo /usr/bin/profiles renew -type enrollment
    • If you want to erase the computer, navigate to System Settings > General > Transfer or Reset > Erase All Content and Settings, and then re-enroll the device via Automated Device Enrollment.

  2. For Device Enrollment, do the following:
    1. Navigate to System Settings > General > Device Management.
    2. Remove the expired MDM Profile and certificate authority (CA).
    3. Go to: https://JAMF_PRO_URL.com/enroll.
    4. Authenticate to the server.
    5. Enter the name of the user to assign the device.
    6. Download the MDM profile.
    7. Navigate to System Settings > General > Device Management.
    8. Click the MDM profile and install it.
      Note:

If Skip certificate installation during enrollment was not selected under Settings > Global > User-Initiated Enrollment > General, you must also complete the following steps to download and install the CA profile.

    9. (Optional) Return to the browser and click Continue to download the CA profile.
    10. (Optional) In System Settings > General > Device Management, click the CA profile and install it.

The MDM profile will be reinstalled during the enrollment process.
