Jamf Infrastructure Manager 2.1.0–2.4.0 requires Java 11 for server environments. You will need to ensure your Infrastructure Manager server is running one of the supported distributions of Java 11 before upgrading. When you are ready to upgrade, you can migrate to a supported distribution of Java 11 on your Infrastructure Manager server. This migration consists of the following steps:
Stopping the Jamf Infrastructure Manager service
Uninstalling Java 8
Installing Java 11
Updating the Jamf Infrastructure Manager service
