  1. Log in to Apple School Manager.
  2. If prompted, follow the onscreen instructions to verify your identity.
  3. Click on your account name in the lower-left corner, and then choose "Preferences" from the pop-up menu.
  4. Click Locations in the sidebar.
  5. Click Add.
  6. Create a new location.
  7. Transfer licenses from your existing volume purchasing location to the new volume purchasing location, or purchase new licenses if you do not wish to transfer licenses.
Note:If you do not wish to transfer all of your licenses at once, you can generate a new content token with the new volume purchasing location you created in step 5 for use in Jamf Pro, allowing you to continue to use the original token in Jamf Now.

For more information on transferring licenses between volume purchasing locations, see Transfer licenses to another location in Apple School Manager in the Apple School Manager User Guide.

  8. Integrate the new volume purchasing location in Apple School Manager with Jamf Pro.

For more information on integrating volume purchasing locations with Jamf Pro, see Volume Purchasing Integration in the Jamf Pro Documentation.

  9. (Optional) Upload in-house apps to Jamf Pro.
Note:In Jamf Pro, custom apps are called in-house apps.

For more information on uploading in-house apps to Jamf Pro, see In-House Apps in the Jamf Pro Documentation.

Apps are migrated from Jamf Now to Jamf Pro. You can deploy apps to computers and mobile devices in your Jamf Pro environment.
