In cloud-hosted environments with Jamf Pro 11.7.0 or later, using this method to enable debug mode will automatically distribute any log-level changes to all Tomcat nodes within your environment.

  1. Go to the following URL for your Jamf Pro server:

    • For on-premise Jamf Pro servers: https://jamfpro.mycompany.com:8443/logging.html

    • For Jamf Cloud-hosted Jamf Pro servers: https://jamfpro.mycompany.jamfcloud.com/logging.html

  2. Select the Enable debug mode or Enable statement logging checkbox.

    In Jamf Pro 11.17.0 or later, when Debug mode is enabled, the Disable debug mode option automatically ends debug mode after the selected time frame has passed. When "Never" is selected, debug mode remains active until either the server is restarted or you manually disable it.
