You can use the following keys within the obliterationBehavior option to manage the fallback behavior on the target computer:
- DoNotObliterate —The computer does not attempt to erase itself under the following conditions:
The preflight check fails, and the computer responds to the server with an
ErrorstatusThe preflight check succeeds, but Erase All Content and Settings fails
- ObliterateWithWarning —The computer attempts to erase itself with a warning under the following conditions:
The preflight check fails, and the computer responds with an
AcknowledgedstatusThe preflight check succeeds, but Erase All Content and Settings fails
- Always —Mac computers with the T2 chip or later will always obliterate. Erase All Content and Settings is bypassed.
- Default —The computer attempts to erase itself under the following conditions:

ErrorstatusThe preflight check succeeds, but Erase All Content and Settings fails
