This article explains how to increase or decrease the amount of time before a Jamf Pro session times out and prompts you to re-authenticate. Changing the timeout setting is only available for on-premise environments and requires a direct modification to Jamf Pro configuration settings. The timeout setting cannot be configured within the Jamf Pro interface.
If your Jamf Pro server is integrated with an identity provider, you can manage the token timeout for accounts (e.g., a timeout of 8 hours). This does not prevent Jamf Pro from logging out. However, returning administrators would not need to re-authenticate during the token timeout period, making regaining access to Jamf Pro easier.
