Self Service+ for mobile can be deployed from Jamf Pro using either of the following methods:
Automatically install Self Service+ on end user devices

Automatic installation prompts enrolled devices to receive Self Service+ when the device checks in with Jamf Pro. Devices with iPadOS or iOS 16 or earlier receive the most recent version of Self Service classic instead. When you deploy Self Service+ this way, users must sign in to the App Store to download the app.

Manually install Self Service+ on end user devices

Use the manual installation method to distribute Self Service+ using Jamf Pro or a third-party MDM solution. Jamf recommends using this method to test Self Service+ on a small number of devices. Additionally, you can associate Apple Business or Apple School Manager licenses with the app so that users are not required to sign in to the App Store to download Self Service+.

When you deploy Self Service+ using either of these methods, the customizations, configurations, and branding that you have set in Jamf Pro Settings > Self Service > iOS and Settings > Self Service > Branding are applied to Self Service+. If you have already configured these for Self Service classic, you do not need to configure them again for Self Service+s.
