When deploying Self Service+, keep the following in mind:

  • Jamf does not recommend any deployment methods that are not described in this guide.

  • Self Service+ is supported on devices with iOS or iPadOS 17 or later. Devices with older operating systems will continue to use Self Service classic even when automatic deployment is enabled.

  • Accessibility features, such as VoiceOver, are supported. Internal testing has been completed, but a third-party assessor is conducting additional testing. If users encounter unexpected behavior, you can report issues to Jamf Support to help improve these features.

Note:

Self Service for iOS was renamed Self Service+ for mobile in version 12.0. Unlike earlier versions (referred to as Self Service classic), Self Service+ supports integration with additional Jamf platform capabilities. The Jamf Pro user interface may still display the name "Self Service for iOS" in some areas.
