12.0 (2026-07-20) - Self Service+ for Mobile Deployment Guide

Self Service for iOS is now Self Service+ for Mobile

With the release of version 12.0, Self Service for iOS has a new name: Self Service+ for mobile. Self Service+ adds the capability to integrate additional Jamf platform capabilities. Versions of Self Service prior to 12.0 lack the capability to integrate other Jamf platform apps and are referred to as Self Service classic. The Jamf Pro user interface may still refer to Self Service as Self Service for iOS.

Self Service+ for mobile is targeting a 20 July 2026 release on the App Store for Apple devices, pending approval from Apple. Once available, devices will receive the updated app based on your Jamf Pro settings and Apple's phased release schedule.

To see which devices have Self Service+, create an advanced mobile device search or smart group with the following criteria in Jamf Pro:

App Name has Self Service
App Version like 12

Added Security Capabilities

When security capabilities are configured in the Jamf Security Cloud portal, Self Service+ gives your end users a single, unified experience without disrupting their usual workflows. When a configuration profile is deployed to a user's device, they can access the following capabilities:

Receive real-time network security monitoring and threat alerts
See the security status of their device
View consolidated notifications in the Notifications pane
