A device's risk status fluctuates over time as new vulnerabilities in operating systems and other software are discovered and fixed. Devices with exploitable vulnerabilities present a risk to an organization's infrastructure and data. With Trusted Access, Jamf can automatically identify unsafe devices, and limit those devices' access to company applications using access policies.

There are three parts to the Jamf Trusted Access solution for risk-based access control:

  • Threat prevention policies

  • Zero Trust Network Access policies

  • Jamf partner access control integrations with third-party products

Combine your Jamf Connect access policy and Jamf Protect threat prevention policy to dynamically allow or remove access to apps and resources as device security changes. Granularly control how each type of threat influences device risk score. For each application, choose a device risk score at which access is denied.
