You can customize your threat prevention policy to reflect the risk that each specific category of threats poses to your environment.

Requirements

  • Administrator access to your Jamf Security Cloud portal

  • Devices enrolled with the Jamf Trust app

  • Devices enrolled with Jamf Pro

  1. In Jamf Security Cloud, navigate to Policies > Security > Threat prevention policy.
  2. For each threat category, use the Severity meter to indicate how severe you consider each threat type to be to your organization.
  3. For each threat category, select or deselect the Affects device risk checkbox to indicate whether you want this type of threat to contribute to devices' risk score in the security report.
  4. Click Save.

Device threat severity scores are now calculated using the specific threat severity ratings you have created for your organization.
