With an activation profile for Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Jamf Pro can deploy the Jamf Trust with all configured settings via your organization's UEM or MDM solution.

Note:

If you have already followed the instructions in the Distribute the Jamf Trust App with Jamf Pro documentation, you may have already deployed an activation profile to devices. If so, disregard this step and advance to the next step in the workflow.

Requirements
  • Access to your Jamf Security Cloud portal

  • An existing activation profile

  • An identity provider (IdP) must be integrated with your Jamf Security Cloud portal.

  1. In Jamf Security Cloud, navigate to Devices > Activation profiles > Default Activation Profile.
  2. In the Managed deployment section, under Select your UEM solution, select Jamf Pro.
  3. Under Select your OS, select the option that reflects the supervision status and OS version of the devices you want to install ZTNA on.
  4. Under Configuration profiles, click Download configuration profile.
  5. Under Managed app configuration, click Download managed app config.
  6. In Jamf Pro, click Devices in the sidebar.
  7. Click Configuration Profiles in the sidebar.
  8. Click Upload .
  9. Choose the configuration profile downloaded previously, and then click Upload.
  10. (Optional) Add a Name, Description or Category, if needed.
  11. Click Scope and select the device group to which you want to deploy the profile.
  12. Click Save .

All managed mobile devices and computers will have Jamf Trust along with the configured ZTNA settings.
