You must create or edit a configuration profile before you can specify settings in payloads.

Mac computers managed by Jamf Pro
A push certificate in Jamf Pro
The Enable certificate-based authentication and Enable push notifications settings enabled in Jamf Pro's Security settings
In Jamf Pro, click Computers in the sidebar.
Click Configuration Profiles in the sidebar.
On the Configuration Profiles page, do one of the following:
Click New to create a new configuration profile.
Select an existing configuration profile and click Edit .
Use the General payload to configure basic settings, including the following:.
Set the level to Computer Level.
Computer-level configuration profiles are deployed during a computer PreStage enrollment.
Set the distribution method to Install Automatically.
Configure settings in other payloads as described in the rest of this section.
Click the Scope tab and configure the scope of the configuration profile.
Note:
To distribute the configuration profile during enrollment using a computer PreStage enrollment, ensure the scope contains the computers that are in the scope of the PreStage enrollment.
Click Save .
The configuration profile is distributed to the deployment targets in scope the next time they contact Jamf Pro.
