Classes Enhancements
Classes in Jamf Teacher are now redesigned, allowing teachers to create classes more efficiently. The following enhancements have also been added:
Introduced a toolbar that includes actions for creating a remote class, applying an attention screen, lesson templates, and a more options menu for other action items.
Redesigned the Restrictions, Allowed apps (formerly Applock), and Allowed websites (formerly Weblock) action screens within classes. The following enhancements have also been added:
Action screens now continuously display in classes and when viewing individual students.
Added icons to more efficiently add or remove restrictions, allowed apps, and allowed websites.
A timer is now displayed if applied to an action, and displays a countdown for how much time is remaining.
Teachers can now define how long action screens should be applied by enabling a Clear after button.
A list of students now displays which students are present during a class.
Improvements to notifications, including support for notifications in new languages.
Classes now display a progress indicator when teachers create, edit, or delete a class.
Introduced a search bar for lesson templates and allowed apps.
Accessibility Enhancements
In Classes, the student list is now available for VoiceOver.
In Settings, headers and buttons are now available for VoiceOver.
Improvements to user interface elements in Lessons to enhance the accuracy of VoiceOver.
Resolved Issues
When requesting apps using App Request, the full name of the requested app now correctly displays after adding students to the request.
When creating a new lesson, a gray screen no longer displays when loading the lesson.
A blank row no longer displays in My Resources.
