Jamf Teacher Navigation Enhancements:

Navigation in Jamf Teacher for iOS now allows users to easily switch between sidebar sections and allows for notifications and status indicators to display on tabs. Other navigation enhancements include the following:

  • A redesigned user interface.

  • Settings, Messages, App Requests, Library, and Tests can now be accessed using the sidebar.

  • You can now swipe down on the screen to refresh the sidebar.

  • The sidebar can also be accessed by swiping right from the edge of the screen.

  • Message notifications now open specific messages after receiving a notification.

  • Teachers can switch between sidebar menu items without losing their progress.

  • Jamf Pro now supports the navigation enhancements.

  • Improved Traditional Chinese translations.

The following accessibility enhancements were also added:
  • Voice Over —This screen reader allows teachers to hear auditory descriptions of on-screen text and elements.
  • Dynamic Type —Teachers can now choose the size of on-screen text.

Zoom for Jamf Teacher

Teachers can now automatically create a Zoom meeting link for their remote classes by enabling Automatically Create Zoom Link when configuring a remote class.

To use this feature in Jamf Teacher, navigate to the class you want to create a Remote Class for and enable Automatically Create Zoom Link.
Note:

If this is your first time enabling this setting, Zoom will prompt you to sign in before you can create the meeting link.
