In Jamf Security Cloud, you can create administrator accounts with specific roles and permissions. Creating an account also allows you to enable single sign-on (SSO) for portal access.

Requirements

To use SSO, you need an SSO connection in Jamf Account. For more information, see Jamf Single Sign-On (SSO) with Jamf Account in the Jamf Account Documentation.

  1. In Jamf Security Cloud, navigate to Settings > Administrators > Manage.
  2. Click New Admin.
  3. Enter an Admin name and Email address for the user.
  4. Select Allow single sign-on.

When selected, users are redirected to sign in using an SSO connection configured in Jamf Account.

  5. Configure additional accounts settings, such as user role and permissions.
  6. Click Save.
SSO in Jamf Account overrules Jamf Security Cloud credentials. Any email address that is configured with SSO in Jamf Account is redirected to sign-in via SSO, even if separate sign-in credentials exist in Jamf Security Cloud.
