To create a zero touch app activation experience for your Android users, you can create an additional Microsoft Intune profile that automatically activates the Jamf Trust app without any user interaction.

Requirements
  1. In Microsoft Intune, navigate to Devices > Android > Configuration.
  2. Click Create > New Policy.
  3. In the Create a profile pane, define the profile platform and type:
    1. Choose Android Enterprise from the Platform pop-up menu.
    2. Choose Device restrictions from the Profile type pop-up menu, and then select the ownership type that applies to your devices.
    3. Click Create.
  4. Configure each configuration policy page:
    1. On the Basics page, enter a name for the policy, such as Jamf Trust Zero Touch App Activation for Android, and a policy description.
    2. On the Configuration settings page, configure the following Connectivity settings:
      • Always-on VPN —

        "Enabled"

      • VPN client —"Custom"
      • Package ID —com.wandera.android
    3. On the Scope tags page, define any Microsoft Intune scope tags.
    4. On the Assignments page, assign all applicable Android devices.
    5. On the Review + create page, confirm your policy settings and click Create.

After Android devices sync with Microsoft Intune, the Jamf Trust is automatically activated without any user interaction.
