If you use an Activation Profile with Secure DNS traffic vectoring, use the following steps to deploy and activate the Jamf Trust app to your Android devices without user interaction.

Requirements

You must have already added Jamf Trust for Android to Workspace ONE, and applied the configuration settings obtained from Jamf Security Cloud.

  1. Log in to the Workspace ONE admin console.
  2. Click Add > Add Profile.
  3. Select the Android platform.
  4. Paste the following into the Custom Settings field:

  5. Click Next.
  6. Select the Assignment page.
  7. Select your Smart Group.
  8. Assign this configuration to the same group to which you have assigned the app.
  9. Set Allow Removal to "Never" if you want to lock down your VPN.
  10. Click Save and Publish.
