Jamf Security Cloud administrators can customize push notifications that your users receive from Jamf Trust on their mobile devices.
Specifically, admins can:
- Edit the fields to customize push notification text.
- Write the notifications in another language.
The push notification templates are in Jamf Security Cloud under .
By default, admins are only able to change the language. If you would like to customize the push notification templates, contact Jamf Support.
Template Locale Selector
Jamf Security Cloud provides templates in different languages. When you select your template language, it updates the locale and replaces it with translated content for all of your end users.
If you would like your end users to receive notifications in Dutch, for example, you can select this option from the drop-down list.
Numbers and variables are not translated.

Content Editing
There are three areas on the Customize Push Templates page that can be edited:
- Push Notification —The notifications that appear on the home screen of the mobile device.
- Timeline View —This is called Notifications in Jamf Trust. It can be viewed by tapping the bell icon or clicking on the push notification.
- Notification Detail —Select the notification within the Notifications view in Jamf Trust to view further details.
Your Jamf Representative can edit template text for you. Alternatively, they can assign editing permissions to you, so you can make the changes yourself.
