You must create an app configuration policy in Microsoft Intune for the Jamf Trust app for Android, which defines the managed app configuration settings for the app.

Requirements

From the Jamf Security Cloud activation profile you want to use, have the managed app configuration for Android readily available to copy and paste values. To access the managed app configuration, go to the activation profile you want to use, select Microsoft Intune and Android, and then click Preview managed app config.

  1. In Microsoft Intune, navigate to Apps > App configuration policies > Add > Managed devices.
  2. On the Basics page, define basic information about your app configuration policy:
    1. Enter a name, such as such as Jamf Trust App Configuration for Android, and enter a description.
    2. Choose "All Profile Types" from the Profile Type pop-up menu.
    3. Choose "Android Enterprise" from the Platform pop-up menu.
    4. Choose "Select app" from the Targeted app pop-up menu.

      An Associated app pane displays.

    5. On the Associated app pane, choose Jamf Trust and click Ok.

      This applies the policy to the Jamf Trust app for Android.

  3. On the Settings page, enter the managed app configuration values from the Jamf Security Cloud portal:
    1. From the Configuration Settings Format pop-up menu, choose "Use Configuration Designer".
    2. Click Add, and then copy and paste the managed app configuration values from Jamf Security Cloud.
  4. Configure the remaining app configuration policy pages to finish creating the policy:
    1. On the Scope tags page, define any Microsoft Intune scope tags.
    2. On the Assignments page, assign all applicable Android devices.
      Note:

      The devices assigned to this policy should be the same as the devices assigned to the Jamf Trust app for Android.

    3. On the Review + create page, confirm your policy settings and click Create.
The app configuration policy is now configured using the app settings from Jamf Security Cloud and is applied to all Android devices with the Jamf Trust app installed.
