Configure and customize the custom push notifications using the templates in Jamf Security Cloud under Settings > Notifications > Push Templates.

Note:

Contact your Jamf Representative who can edit the template text for you. Alternatively, if you prefer to change the text yourself, they can give you editing permissions.

Requirements
  • Your users have activated their devices.
  • You have defined your domestic and roaming policies with access rights.
  1. In Jamf Security Cloud, go to Settings > Notifications > Push Templates.
  2. Select your template language and template from the drop-down menus on the Customize Push Templates overview.
    Note:

    The language that you select will apply to all notification templates.

  3. Select the Push Notification tab.
  4. Edit the Title and Body fields as required.
    Note:

    • Do not edit the text contained within brackets.

    • Each device has a different character limit. Variables are not included within this limit.

  5. Click Save.
  6. Select the Timeline View tab.
  7. Edit the Headline and Body fields as required, except for the text contained within brackets.
  8. Click Save.
  9. Select the Notification Detail tab.
  10. Edit the Headline, Title, and Content fields as required, except for the text contained within brackets.
  11. Click Save.
End users will now receive the customized text on their mobile devices according to their policy.
Note:

End users must restart Jamf Trust when changes are made in Jamf Security Cloud.
