Once you have pushed the Jamf Trust app to your iOS and iPadOS devices via Workspace ONE, you can create a UEM configuration profile to push a traffic vectoring profile to these devices.

  1. In Jamf Security Cloud, navigate to Devices > Activation Profiles.
  2. Select the required Activation Profile.
  3. In the Managed Deployment area, select Workspace ONE.
  4. Copy and paste the required UEM configuration file code for iOS and iPadOS devices into a text editor.
    Note:

There are two configuration files for iOS and iPadOS devices: one for supervised devices, and one for unsupervised. Select the one that applies to your devices. If you have both supervised and unsupervised devices, run through this process twice to create configuration profiles for both types.

  5. Log in to the Workspace ONE admin console.
  6. Navigate to Resources > Profiles and Baselines > Profiles.
  7. Click Add > Add Profile.
  8. Select Apple iOS, then assign a name to the profile.

For example, "Jamf supervised profile" or "Jamf unsupervised profile".

  9. Set the Assignment Type field to "Auto".
  10. Assign the profile to the Smart Groups you want to deploy the profile to.
  11. Click View Device Assignment to check the devices that will receive the profile.
  12. Click Custom Settings in the left-hand menu.
  13. Click Configure.
  14. Paste the UEM configuration file code into the Custom Settings field.
  15. Select the Enable Custom Lookup Value checkbox.
  16. Click Save and Publish to deploy the profile.
  17. If you have a mixed fleet of supervised and unsupervised devices, repeat this process for the other profile type.
