Requirements
  • A third-party service that is configured to receive SSF streams

  • Jamf Security Cloud

  • Devices managed by Jamf Pro

  • Devices that meet one of the following requirements:
    • The activation profile has the network security service capability enabled

    • The Risk API is enabled

  • Any requirements specific to the receiver.

Note:The third party service, acting as the SSF receiver, may require additional steps. Consult your vendor's documentation.
  1. In Jamf Security Cloud, navigate to Integrations > SSF streams.
  2. Click Create new SSF stream.
  3. In the Audience field, enter the URL for your third-party SSF signal receiver and click Create.
  4. Copy and save the token shown in the window, then click Confirm.

Okta users do not need a token.

  5. Click Back.
  6. In the row for your newly created stream, click Actions > Configure.
  7. In the Endpoint URL field, enter the URL of the endpoint where Jamf transmits SSF events. If Okta is your receiver, append /security/api/v1/security-event to the end of the URL.
  8. (Optional) Enter the Authorization header.
  9. In the Events section, select which types of events you want to send.
  10. Click Save.

The SSF stream is established between the Jamf Security Cloud transmitter and the SSF receiver.
