Prior to distribution, you must locate the app configuration keys and values for Android devices for IBM MaaS360 in your Jamf Security Cloud portal.

Requirements

  • Access to your Jamf Security Cloud portal

  • Access to your IBM MaaS360 admin console

  1. In Jamf Security Cloud, navigate to Devices > Activation profiles.
  2. From the list of activation profiles, select the one you want to use for your devices. The details of the profile are displayed.
  3. Select IBM MaaS360 from the list of UEM solutions.
  4. Click iOS and iPadOS supervised.
  5. Click Managed app configuration.
  6. Download the managed app configuration file for use during this process.
    Important:

    If you have Shared iPads in your environment, do not install the Jamf Trust app on these devices. You only need to distribute an activation profile to enable portal capabilities. For more information about Shared iPads, see Shared iPad overview from Apple Platform Deployment.
