Requirements

Locate the app configuration code for iOS and iPadOS devices for Citrix Endpoint Management:

  1. In Jamf Security Cloud, navigate to Devices > Activation Profiles.

  2. From the list of Activation Profiles, select the one you want to use for your devices. The details of the profile are displayed.

  3. Select Citrix Endpoint Management from the list of UEM solutions.

  4. Click iOS / iPadOS Managed App Configuration

  5. Click Show App Configuration.

  6. Copy and paste the code to a text file for use during this process.
    Important:

    If you have Shared iPads in your environment, do not install the Jamf Trust app on these devices. You only need to distribute an activation profile to enable portal capabilities. For more information about Shared iPads, see Shared iPad overview from Apple Platform Deployment.

  1. Log in to Citrix Endpoint Management.
  2. Navigate to Configure > Apps.
  3. Click Add.
  4. Select Public App Store.
  5. De-select any non-iOS platforms on the left-hand side of the page.
  6. Enter the name "Jamf Trust" (or "Wandera" for legacy Activation Profiles), then click Next.
  7. Search for the app and confirm the selection.
  8. Ensure that the following fields are all selected:

    • Remove app if MDM profile is removed

    • Prevent app data backup

    • Force app to be managed

    • Force license association to device

  9. Expand the Deployment Rules section and select the appropriate rules.
  10. Configure the use of the Volume Licensing Program, so that your end users do not have to use their personal Apple Account.
  11. Repeat the above steps for iPadOS devices.
  12. Under Delivery Group Assignments, select the users that should receive the app.
  13. Configure your preferred Deployment Schedule, then click Save.
  14. Navigate to Configure > Device Policies.
  15. Click Add > iOS.
  16. Select App Configuration.
  17. Enter a Name for the configuration, for example "Jamf Trust App Config".
  18. Under Identifier, click Add New and set the identifier to com.jamf.trust ( or com.wandera.wandera for legacy Activation Profiles).
  19. Copy and paste the app configuration code retrieved from Jamf Security Cloud into the Dictionary Content section.
  20. If you configured the Deployment Rules section previously, set the same rules again in this section.
  21. In the Assignment section, select the same users you specified in Delivery Group Assignments.
  22. Click Save.
