Local Jamf School administrator account credentials are stored in the database and authenticated by the Jamf School server. Two-factor authentication and lost password reset functionality are available for local Jamf School administrator accounts.

The Jamf School web app may be configured to restrict access to the administrator user interface while still allowing device management capabilities for computers only, mobile devices only, or both. Role-based access with granular CRUD (create, read, update, delete) privileges is available for Jamf School objects.
