You can use Jamf School to manage how iOS and iPadOS updates are applied to supervised devices, including those with a passcode. Available updates depend on the device model and its current iOS or iPadOS version.

You can manage software updates using profiles or blueprints. Jamf recommends using blueprints, as this feature provides a streamlined software update management experience.

Software update settings configured in blueprints override software update settings configured in profiles.
