If you want to uninstall a package from devices in Jamf School, you can use an uninstaller provided by the package's publisher or a custom script. For more information about scripts, see Scripts.
Before deploying the uninstaller or script to a device group, Jamf recommends removing the device group from the package's scope.
- In Jamf School, navigate to in the sidebar.
- Remove one or more device groups from the package's scope by doing the following:
- Click the name of the package you want to uninstall from devices.
- Click Delete
for one or more device groups in the lower-left corner.
- Click Save in the lower-right corner.
- If you do not have an uninstaller provided by the package's publisher, create a script and deploy it to one or more device groups to uninstall the package. For more information, see Creating and Managing Scripts in Jamf School. If you have an uninstaller provided by the package's publisher, do the following to uninstall the package:
- Navigate to in the sidebar.
- Click + Add App.
- Choose from the pop-up menu.
- In the Add In-House macOS Package pop-up dialog, drag and drop or click and select an uninstaller file to upload to Jamf School.
- Click the name of the uninstaller on the page.
- Click the + icon in the lower-left corner and select the device groups you want to scope the uninstaller to.
- Click Save in the lower-right corner.
