Removing Apps Before the Deferred Removal Period Ends

  1. In Jamf School, navigate to Devices > Inventory in the sidebar.
  2. Click the name of the device from which you want to remove apps marked for deferred removal.
  3. In the list on the left side of the pane, click Managed Apps.
  4. In the Managed Apps pane, do one of the following to remove apps marked for deferred removal from the device:

    • To remove a single app marked for deferred removal, click Remove on the right side of the app's row.

    • To remove all apps marked for deferred removal, click Permanently delete deferred items in the upper right of the pane.

    Note:

    You can also remove an app marked for deferred removal from devices by navigating to Apps > Inventory in the sidebar, selecting the checkbox next to the app, and clicking Permanently delete deferred items.

If the device is online, the apps are immediately removed from the device. If the device is offline, the apps will be removed the next time the device is online.
