When migrating app licenses from Jamf Pro to Jamf School, there are steps in Jamf Pro you must complete prior to migration for your volume purchasing content to be available to migrate.
In Jamf Pro, click Computers or Devices in the sidebar.
Click Mac Apps or Mobile Device Apps in the sidebar.
(Mac apps only) Click the App Store tab.
For each app, click the name of the app to open the General pane.
Click the Managed distribution tab and deselect the Assign Content Purchased in Volume checkbox to remove the app from scope.
Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each app license you intend to migrate.
Note:
If you have both Mac apps and mobile device apps that you intend to migrate, make sure to complete these steps for both.
Navigate to Settings in the sidebar.
In the Global section, click Volume purchasing .
Click the Locations tab and then click the volume purchasing location with the token you intend to migrate.
Verify that the apps have been successfully removed from scope by ensuring the IN USE column only displays zeroes.
The content token is now ready to be uploaded and reclaimed by Jamf School.
