  10. Enter a hostname and a volume in the Hostname and Volume fields using the following formats:
    • AFP: "afp://ComputerName.CompanyName.com" or "afp://Hostname/Volume"

    • SMB: "smb://DNSname/sharename" or "smb://IPaddress/sharename"
      Note:

You can also use the computer name. If you do not specify the shared folder as part of the address, you can choose it after you enter your user name and password.

    • NFS: "nfs://DNSname/pathname"

  11. In the list of payloads on the left side of the screen, locate the macOS payload category and click the Login Window payload.
  12. Click Configure to configure the basic settings.
  13. In the list of payloads on the left side of the pane, locate the General category and click the Scope payload.
  14. Configure the scope of the profile by clicking the + icon and adding device groups to the profile scope using the pop-up menu.
  15. Click the Settings icon on the right side of the page, and do one of the following:
    • To install the profile on devices automatically, click Change to automatic installation for all groups.

    • To allow users to install the profile themselves, click Change to on-demand installation for all groups. The profile will be available for users to install in the Jamf Teacher or Jamf School Student apps.

  16. Click Save.

Once both payloads are configured and the profile is distributed to computers in the scope, the user must log in and then the network mount will be shared.
