The Jamf School audit log tracks and displays all activity by users in Jamf School. Audit log entries are retained for 15 months.
You can view the audit log by navigating to in the sidebar. In addition, you can download the audit log in CSV file format by clicking Export on the Audit Log page or by using the GET <domain>/audit-logs/v1 API endpoint.
Audit log exports are limited to 3 months of data. The Jamf School interface limits exports to the previous 3 months of data, while the Jamf School API limits exports to 3 months of data per API request. To export the entire audit log, send multiple requests using the GET <domain>/audit-logs/v1 API endpoint, incrementing each request's to and from query parameter values in 3-month intervals.
You can filter log entries by specific criteria by clicking the arrow next to Filter and configuring the pop-up menus and fields. For example, you could filter for activity that occurred in a specific location or on a certain date.
