If you want to make your user data anonymous in Jamf School when importing data from Apple School Manager, navigate to Organization > Settings > Apple School Manager SFTP and select the Anonymize uploaded users checkbox. When enabled, users in Apple School Manager are linked to a number instead of a name for identification. When your data syncs with Jamf School, these numbers are linked to the corresponding user accounts in Jamf School.

After enrolling your school in Apple School Manager, you can import school information about managers, students, staff, and classes using the Setup Assistant in Apple School Manager. For more information on how to import information using your Student Information System (SIS) or SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol), see Integrate Apple School Manager with your Student Information System (SIS) and Import accounts into Apple School Manager using SFTP in the Apple School Manager User Guide.
Note:

If a SFTP upload from Jamf School is configured, then class synchronization from Apple School Manager is disabled. Classes must be managed in Jamf School instead of Apple School Manager.
