- Automated Device Enrollment —When enrolling a computer using Automated Device Enrollment, the user created during Setup Assistant will be MDM-enabled. The local user account is not MDM-enabled if at least one of the following is true:
The Make the local administrator account MDM-enabled checkbox is selected in the Automated Device Enrollment profile.
The local user was created via Jamf Connect.
- On-device enrollment —The user who installed the profile will be MDM-enabled after enrollment.
Note:
Network and mobile user accounts are MDM-enabled by default in Jamf School, regardless of the enrollment method used.
