Downloading the Jamf Protect Package and Plans for Deployment

Complete the following steps to manually download the plan configuration profile (.mobileconfig) and the latest Jamf Protect PKG for deployment via Jamf School.

Requirements

You must have at least one plan configured in Jamf Protect. For more information on plans, see Plans in the Jamf Protect Documentation.

  1. Download the plan you want to upload to Jamf School by doing the following:
    1. In Jamf Protect, click Plans.
    2. On the Plans page, click the name of the plan you want to download.
    3. On the plan details page, click Download profile and choose one of the following download types:
      • Default download —Includes the default configuration profile payload settings and certificates in the downloaded plan configuration profile.
      • Custom download —Allows you to choose which configuration profile payload settings and certificates to include in the downloaded plan configuration profile.
  2. Download the latest Jamf Protect PKG by doing the following:
    1. In Jamf Protect, click Administrative > Downloads.
    2. Click the download link in the Agent Download section.
