Configuring Automatic Update Settings for Multiple Apps

  1. In Jamf School, navigate to Apps > Inventory in the sidebar.
  2. Select the checkbox next to each app you want to configure automatic update settings for.
  3. Click More, and then choose one of the following options from the Change 'Auto Update' pop-up menu:
    • Enable —Allow the app to update automatically when an update is available. If the app is in use on a device, the user will be prompted to either quit the app and begin the installation of the update or defer the update.
    • Disable —Prevent the app from updating automatically when an update is available.
    • Don't overwrite —Use the settings configured under Organization > Settings > General to determine whether to update the app automatically when an update is available.
  4. Click Yes.
