You can use classes in Jamf School with Apple's Classroom app or the Jamf Teacher and Jamf School Student apps. Classes can either be configured manually or imported from Apple School Manager.
When a class is imported from Apple School Manager or manually configured, Jamf School automatically creates and installs an associated EDU profile on the teacher and student devices. This profile allows student and teacher devices to communicate. It also ensures that students can log in to a Shared iPad device if Shared iPad has been enabled on the iPad. The class configuration is applied to the student and teacher devices when the devices check in with Jamf School.
