Requirements
You need to have a printer driver in PKG format from Composer.
- In Jamf School, navigate to Apps > Inventory in the sidebar.
- Select + Add App and then select Add In-House macOS Package from the pop-up menu.
- Upload a printer driver package from Composer.
- Click the + icon in the lower-left corner and select the device group you want to scope the printer drivers to. For more information about creating device groups, see Device Groups.Best Practice:
Deploying printer drivers to device groups before configuring a printer management profile ensures that the printers are mapped with the correct drivers instead of generic drivers.
- Click Save.
