Custom Declarative Device Management Declarations
Blueprints now includes custom declarative device management configurations, extending device management capabilities beyond standard blueprint options. This feature enables administrators to implement advanced Apple declarative device management settings for specialized use cases. Custom declarations consist of two components: Configurations that define device settings and policies, and Assets that provide supporting data like certificates or scripts. The feature leverages Apple's native declarative device management framework to deliver granular control over device behavior. Implementation requires advanced knowledge of Apple's declarative device management protocol and thorough testing before deployment.
