Network Compatibility Mode
Jamf Safe Internet now offers network compatibility mode, which deploys the on-device content filter without Secure DNS, maximizing compatibility with existing network infrastructure and third-party security solutions. This mode is ideal for organizations that already have DNS filtering or web security tools in place and want to add Jamf's content filtering capabilities without disrupting their current DNS architecture.
To create an activation profile with network compatibility mode enabled, go to and select Enable network compatibility mode.
Note:
When using network compatibility mode, ensure your existing DNS security solutions provide adequate threat protection, as Jamf's DNS-based threat prevention will not be active.
