To integrate with multiple UEM solutions, you must use separate leaf organization units to set up multiple UEM Connect configurations. Contact Jamf Support to request an additional leaf unit.
The Google Admin Console integration supports the following features:
- Syncing of ChromeOS devices
- Device lifecycle management
- Group membership mapping of Google user groups. Device groups are not included.
The Google Admin Console integration only syncs user information. Management status and last check-in time are not available, and devices will always appear as "not managed" in Safe Internet when using Google Admin Console as the UEM.
Safe Internet administrator access
A user must be actively signed in to the device at the time the UEM sync runs for the device to appear in Safe Internet and be included in group mappings.
- Log in to Safe Internet as an administrator and choose the portal that you want to configure with UEM Connect.
- Navigate to .
- Select from the UEM Vendor pop-up menu.
- Click Grant Permissions.
- Select the Google administrator organization account you want to use for this configuration.
- View and accept the permissions.
UEM Connect is now configured for Google Admin Console.
You may need to choose settings for third party apps within your Google Admin Console to apply changes and grant permissions successfully. For more information, go to Control which third-party & internal apps access Google Workspace data. The changes can take up to 24 hours to take effect.
