The RapidIdentity Authentication Client for Windows enables users to log in to their Windows device securely using their RapidIdentity credentials, providing an added layer of security with multiple logon options.
You can assign authentication methods using authentication policies in the RapidIdentity portal. Each user logging in through the Windows Authentication Client must have an applicable policy assigned.
After the Authentication Client is installed, users logging in to the device will see the RapidIdentity Client for Windows credential tile in the lower-left corner of the screen. Users enter their RapidIdentity username, then authenticate using the method defined by their assigned authentication policy. If multiple authentication methods are assigned to a user's policy, users must complete each method to access their device.
