Requirements
  • Available Authentication into RapidIdentity Cloud version 2021.7.27 or later
  • A domain-joined Windows 10 computer
  • Users' identities in both the RapidIdentity User Store and Active Directory, with synced passwords
  • An API key assigned to the Authentication API Consumer role for the appropriate Service Identity
  1. Download and launch the RapidIdentity Client for Windows installer.
    Right-click the following link, then click Save As: RapidIdentity Client for Windows.
  2. Open the Windows Setup Wizard, then click Next to begin the installation.
  3. Configure the installation settings:
    1. Enter the Domain
      Accounts will authenticate to this domain. Use DOT (.) to use a local account in a non-domain-joined installation or the NetBIOS name of the Domain in a domain-joined installation.
    2. Enter the Server URL.
      The server URL should start with https://.
    3. Enter the secret API Key generated in RapidIdentity Service Identities Server.
    4. Click Next.
  4. Select the installation folder and click Next.
  5. Click Install on the Ready to install window.
  6. Click Yes to allow this app to make changes to the device if applicable.
  7. Once the installation is complete, click Finish to exit the Setup Wizard.
