Excluding Identity Bridge Agent from Windows Security

To prevent false alerts in Windows Security, exclude the Identity Bridge Agent folder from threat protection.

  1. From your desktop, click Start > Settings.
  2. In the left menu, click Windows Security.
  3. Click Virus & threat protection.
  4. In the Exclusions section of the menu, click Add or remove exclusions.
  5. Click + next to Add an exclusion.
  6. In the pop-up menu, click File.
  7. Locate and select the Identity Bridge Agent file.

    The default Identity Bridge Agent installation location is C:\Program Files\Identity Automation\Identity Bridge Agent.

Identity Bridge Agent is excluded from Windows Security Threat Protection and will not cause false threat alerts.
